Fifteenth game of 2025

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Wonderful game, great music, bizarre story. Overall just an amazing experience

With that said: F__k Simon

These are the 4 that ruin my life, and I love them soo much!!

14th game of the year:

Katanaut

A fun rogue like. Not normally my cup of tea, but I got a free steam key and gave it a go.

The game is challenging, but not as brutal as other games in the genre. Had a fairly good time with it

Day 28

A game that was cancelled

Scalebound, I guess.

The franchises I care for tend to just die before announcing a sequel
September 28, 2025 at 4:06 PM
Day 27

A game to take on with a friend

Wanted to say A Way Out again. But that's cheap

Portal 2, great co-op mode, recommend everyone to try it if you haven't
September 27, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Day 26 (i forgot to post again)

Guilty pleasure game

Rumble Roses XX

It's by all accounts a decent wrestling/fighting game, but there's a... fun twist with

Day 25:

Game i wish i could play for the first time again

I normally don't care for that sentiment. I'm often content with finishing games and never feel the need to replay them.

That said, A Way Out, just so you can replay it with different friends without knowing what'll happen

Day 24

A game i wanted to love but couldn't

Had to think about it as normally I'm very ok with not liking a game. Plenty of fish and all that

If I had to give an answer, it's Forza Horizon 4. I normally like these, but when I played it, I guess I was in a racing rud and I couldn't enjoy it.

13th game of the year:

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail

This wasn't great, especially after the amazing expansions prior

It started slow, got good around 40% of the way, and completely fell off again for me around the 80% mark

The last trial was fun, but overall I mainly wondered "why?"

Day 23

Game with the prettiest art direction

Had to give this some thought as there are a lot of pretty games, but which one of those deserves a standout mention?

I think Ori and Blind Forest takes it with its use of colour
September 23, 2025 at 9:17 AM
Day 22 (cause I forgot yesterday)

I can't say I have an absolute favourite character. But, Mass Effect has a few that I adore.

Specifically Tali and Garus

Day 21

A game that reminds me of friends

I love a good twist, so I'll go with House Flipper, where you could buy the apartments seen in the show "friends"
September 21, 2025 at 10:22 AM
I really like Spene's vibe
September 20, 2025 at 1:22 PM
Day 20

A game that is 8-bit / 16-bit / pixel art

I'm spoiled, I don't like pixel art most of the time (sorry). But I'll go with the very first Final Fantasy!
September 20, 2025 at 11:19 AM
Day 19

Scariest game ever played

Going to split this

Layers of Fear for the game I actually finished

Outlast as a "true" answer cause I dropped it quite early for being too much. So did I really "play" it, idk.

I'm not a fan of horror games and the only reason I tried these was Games with Gold
September 19, 2025 at 7:00 AM
Day 18

Worst game ever played

Top 2:

Woodle Tree: such an empty platformer, designed for kids, but I think even 4 year olds will cry over how boring it is

Alekhine's Gun: terrible stealth game, just didn't work as it should and is one of the few games I regret buying
September 18, 2025 at 11:05 AM
Another old read i finished during holiday. Very very short, but quite fun to read. You can probably finish it in about 1 / 1,5 hour
September 18, 2025 at 10:59 AM
Finally got around to read this.

The Type-0 manga that is part of the HD Remaster Collectors Edition. I bought that CE on release but the Euro version came with the manga in french which I can't read. Managed to buy an English version a year ago

It's a decent read, a bit wishy washy maybe
September 17, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Day 17

Underrated game! This is a day I love.

Scarlet Nexus: great story, great characters & fun sction

Urbz, Sims in the city: absolutely underrated setting for a Sims game with fun characters

Sega GT Rally: best racing game I've ever played and no one ever talks about it
September 17, 2025 at 9:51 AM
Day 16

Game made outside the US

I find this a bit silly. Like the US is this breeding ground for games and rarely a game outside the US sees success

Anyway:
Final Fantasy
Dark Souls
The Witcher
September 16, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Day 15!

A game with minimalist or no dialogue

Uhm... Minecraft!
September 15, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Day 14 (had a busy day, its already passed midnight, but F it)

Game i put over 100 hours in

Final Fantasy 14
Destiny (1)
Diablo 3
Rainbow Six Siege
Dark Souls 3
Rocket League

These are the top of my, quit 5 of them by now, still play FFXIV
September 14, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Day 13: game with fantastic writing

Fantastic is a lot of praise so I want to pick something that really stood out to me

I'm going with Scarlett Nexus. It has a time travel story and manages to get rid of all plot holes. Which I find impressive. The characters are also super interesting.

Day 12

A game that makes me laugh

This is gonna sound horrible, but any game that adds murder-flavour

Force push you off a cliff? Yes
Surround you with C4 and blow you sky high? Boom
Throw you into rotor blades? Yeah!

I keep my violence exclusively in games, the trade off is that I'm a maniac 🙃
