Did he vote against Schumer as leader? We can’t only blame Schumer when they all voted for him to remain Leader. When is he up for reelection? The ones who “caved” are either retiring or not on the ballot in 2026 or 2028. I’m sorry, I just don’t think any of them are profiles in courage.

But they also voted for Schumer to be their leader. They’re part of this sick game, too.

We need to stop funding those currently in DC and focus on state/local elections. We can no longer tolerate the “we’re not as bad as them” mentality. Truth is, in many ways, they are.
November 10, 2025 at 7:27 PM
No. They voted for Schumer as their leader at the beginning of this term knowing their voters disapproved of his “leadership.” The entire D caucus is in on the con.

The freedom to become Independents and block fundraising requests from democrats not running in state/local elections.

Who opposed Schumer for the leader position? Who voted against him? The caucus knew what Schumer was at the beginning and they elected him leader. They are ALL complicit.

Why are they so sure that Thune will bring a vote on it?

Forget about supporting national dems financially and spend your time and money supporting good candidates at the state and local levels. National dems are choosing not to listen to us. It’s not just the ones who caved this time; it’s all who chose Schumer to once again be their leader.
November 10, 2025 at 2:07 PM
It’s not just the leadership. Why aren’t we questioning why Senate Democrats chose Schumer as their leader in the first place? I think the rot goes through all of them.
November 10, 2025 at 1:27 PM
And still the Ds will cave to him…

I respect David Hogg and his accomplishments, but we need a very big tent over the next few years and only selecting progressive candidates won’t cut it, especially here in the Midwest. If he’s amenable to candidates like Spanberger and Sherrill, I think we could be successful.
November 10, 2025 at 12:28 AM
The national Democrats don’t give a damn about their constituents any more than the Republicans care about theirs. It’s all about their high roller donors. I refuse to donate to the DNC and haven’t since 2016. We should focus on getting Ds elected in state/local races.

I agree.
November 6, 2025 at 2:57 PM
Don’t get ahead of yourself. NYC was a progressive win, but the other wins were moderate in nature. These elections prove that we need candidates who represent their voters rather than shoving candidates down our throats because the supposedly meet the national agenda.

I think it’s more of a documentation that they offered to negotiate a settlement.
November 6, 2025 at 2:53 PM
They’re scared to death he’s going to succeed.
November 6, 2025 at 1:05 PM
Well, to be fair, their cult leader did send out a message that everyone should “vote for Cuomo.”

She’s fine-tuning a message to run for higher office. Regarding healthcare, are her proposals to fix healthcare out there?

This American couldn’t agree more!

All of the above.
