The way the government has dealt with this in the past is to hire a ton of contractors. Contractors already massively outnumber federal employees.

Trump tariffs will not be paid by foreign countries. They will be paid by American consumers. Who will also not receive any meaningful relief from the tax bill. Which means our taxes are going way up. Why? In order to fund tax cuts for the rich. This is plan for wholesale theft currently underway.
