Could be worth a shot! Maybe sitting em' in a box with silica gel when not in use could make a difference moisture-wise? I guess I was lucky that mine only got worse in the cold, I could warm them up under my arm and swap between them as they got weird

honestly that's my best guess. The tiny sensitive copper coils changing size ever so slightly and affecting the capacitance making them act weird. One pen ended up completely unusable in the end. They seemed to fix it with a later tablet iteration, my newer one works great regardless of the season

I had an issue with an older huion where the sensitivity of the pen was affected by the temperature. Like I literally couldn't use it during winter cos the pen was too cold and it started misbehaving. A second pen acted similarly, but better?

The ease of this fix and the fact it actually removed compressed dirt makes it better than the others by far.
Now the only physical flaw with this mouse is fixed

Considering all the other options were:
- Roll it on your leg a bunch until it frees up (works, very temporarily)
- Blast with compressed air (does not work)
- Disassemble the whole mouse and pick the grime out (PITA, risky, warranty voiding)

I am not sure, i did my custom url pretty much day 1, but I've seen some register their old url just in case, but it seems like direct url links within tweets/bios do auto update? (i just checked an existing to be sure)

"Advertising funded" is a big one, since it means you'll not even be able to use websites like kongregate or gamejolt that can give you a few pennies from ad-rev for your free games.

So go 100% free, or just buy licenses. They appear to be 5$ per sound
