I felt they were both in politics for the good they could do not becos of the career they could make.

The Tories would have been in civil war held to ransom by their lunatic Euro-Sceptic wing.
LibDems just made it easy for them and inflicted another 10+ years of Tory Govt on the Country, not to mention Brexit.

A weak minority Con Govt would have collapsed long before the 2015 Election. and the Tories would have not gained a majority.
