My brain is having a really hard time understanding the clear fact that our country is in the hands of some truly sick and heartless people that will not only allow predators to be protected but will sacrifice the rest of us to do so.
The government is in full shutdown and the Republicans are refusing to call the House back into session.

Want to know why?

Because we have secured the final vote on releasing the Epstein Files and they don’t want it out.

Call GOP and tell them to swear in @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social.

I have been waiting for a politician to finally address the Trump regime in its full criminal, anti-democratic, illiberal horror. Delia Ramirez finally cuts through the bullshit and lays it all on the table.

@delia.bsky.social you are my hero. Noem Noem. 🇺🇸

This is not okay
This loss of funding means 14,000 counselors/therapists/social workers will lose their jobs-and the 100,000 of students they served will lose life-saving mental health support. And we wonder why our youth are in crisis.

Congress created the grants in the aftermath of the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. The goal was to help schools hire mental health professionals, including counselors and social workers.

It’s so weird seeing the Port of Seattle without any ships. I don’t see how we get out of this without a ton of supply shortages. Empty shelves are coming.

This is actually one of the most upsetting things I have seen…at least in the last 24 hours because each day there is just one more heartbreaking detail.
Science doesn’t improve by cutting Black, Hispanic, and women experts. But that’s exactly what happened—38 out of 43 removed from NIH boards were just that. And they wonder why trust in institutions is fading.

So thankful I live in Washington state...and I will not turn a blind eye to my fellow Americans that will suffer to a higher degree because of where they live.
