And at one time, female characters owned it with style. I mean, just look at most magical girls. I would love to see femininity in fiction make that kind of comeback.

Heck, I don't even believe all the Optimuses across the universe are alter egos of Optimus Prime. The multiverse can be a very creative place.

My own fan theory is that Elita-1 from Transformers Animated is not really an AU Elita-One, but and AU Blackarachnia. I also believe Skybound Elita is not really an AU Elita-One either. She's wayyyyyyyyy too out of character.

PS: My own personal favourite commercials were the Barbie toy ones, McDonald's ones featuring Ronald McDonald (I loved him and still do), and most candy commercials. They were fun, clean and nice.

Number three, make ads actually entertaining. If you're attempting to win my attention, put effort into it. If you can't sell me, entertain me and make me remember because I will consider telling people about you. At least, that's my opinion on commercials.

Number one, organize neat little breaks during moments that make good commercial breaks. Like the end of an act not the middle of a fight scene or speech. Number two, show ads that have a link to the video being played. If it is about Transformers, show an ad for Transformers or toys.

I had fun watching them and they didn't feel like interruptions. They felt like giving turns. Now, ads feel annoying and actually offput you from the product being sold. I think ads need to learn to work WITH the video rather than simply interrupt it.
