Earlier this year I decided to give qigong a try and (surprise!) I love it. Qigong and tai chi are often said to benefit arthritis, improve balance, and relieve stress. However, with just a few months of practice, I am seeing improved posture. Ready to say “computer neck be-gone with qigong”!

Dear politician (s), please stop encasing your lies in a “for the American people” wrapper. It’s not believable and actually infuriating.

A friend used to say “people have to figure out how to be content with less”. He was referencing our drive for overconsumption. Somehow it seems prophetic now as we struggle with the dissolution of our economic security and standing in the world and what it may mean for our future.

Some forms of dementia rob a person of their speech, but not the ability to feel or connect. Imagine if a smile was your only way to communicate.
