If I could make a plea for BlueSky, it’s this: Please make a point of sharing links to articles, essays and more that you LOVE, that you enjoyed, that expanded you in some way.

I’m always surprised by the dominance of hate-shares, complaint shares on here. And I think it has a riptide effect.

I’ve only just discovered this beauty is out. The first of Pat Barker’s amazing series, ‘The Silence of the Girls’ is one of my favourite books of all time. It’s going to be a struggle to resist bunking off work, sleep & breathing, to read this. Can't wait.

Found this book in a free library and assumed it was self-help, BUT turns out that it's actually a book of COMPLETELY DERANGED suggestions for romantic escapades for married dudes to rekindle the spark. Who's ready to learn about the lost art of romance????💘

HARI (1985)
Acrylic on Canvas - 32" x 20"

Hari Seldon, the benevolent grand architect of the next millennium is seen here against the splendor of Trantor at the height of its power. It is a world completely sheathed in metal: one gigantic city that is the hub and nerve center of the Empire. 1/5

Just finished the backlist of the brilliant @publishingrodeo.bsky.social. can't recommend it enough. Only, the problem with getting addicted to podcasts hosted by authors is the thought that every episode you crave is taking them away from writing the next book you’re waiting for.
