Here’s what they’re stealing from us today.

We paid for these data.

They were collected for the public good.

The Trump Administration are a bunch of petty burglars doing a smash-and-grab on the American people.
This is a WILD list of data to disappear. I was braced for climate stuff, but not, like, shoreline maps and coastal bathymetry
NOAA just announced a long list of datasets that are going away🧪⚒️🌊: www.nesdis.noaa.gov/about/docume...

The Department of Government Efficiency isn't interested in efficiency. Or transparency, or cutting costs. It's real goal is to destroy the federal civil service. In other words, regime change. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Beyond parody. In front of everyone to see
For those who continue to deny that Trump and the MAGA GOP's objection to asylum-seekers and refugees isn't racist, check out which group, out of all the conflicts on earth, Trump has made a very special refugee resettlement for.

Yep.

White South Africans. Beyond parody.
BREAKING

President Trump has signed sanctions against South Africa for their recent land seizure bill.

He is ordering all aid to South Africa be halted and he is also ordering federal agencies to prioritize humanitarian relief and admission to the United States for Afrikaner refugees.

One brilliant hypothesis 👇
just saying: it's possible that "I'm gonna dramatically constrict my state capacity while plotting dramatic imperial expansion, and expanding my set of internal enemies while alienating most of my foreign allies" is the beginning of a world-historical masterstroke. but also possible that it isn't

I thought it was kakistocracy but even that sound too sophisticated for this complete idiotic collapse of a system
Trump has no idea whatsoever what Musk is actually doing even though he also signed the executive order giving DOGE “full and prompt access to all unclassified agency records, software systems, and IT systems."
REPORTER: Does Musk or anyone at DOGE have direct access through the government systems to how money is dispersed?

TRUMP: No. Nothing.

It is just 🤯🤯🤯 that a proper coup is unraveling in front of our eyes, like a proper complete state takeover by a *private South African citizen* and it’s goons… and the media - and we ourselves - go about our days… like, watching Golden Globes and stuff. Just 🤯

The tariffs aren’t about economics, and DOGE isn’t about fiscal responsibility.

They are both about ••psychopathology**.

Couldn’t emphasise this more or shout it louder. Half of this country voted for Kamala — she has to not disappear on us — and her voice is so powerful
we knew Democrats might be caught on their back feet, but when Senate minority leader issues anodyne declarations so utterly inapt in the current climate, it’s time to look for a single charismatic voice, one well-versed in law and unafraid to trim her sails contrarian.substack.com/p/harris-was...

We have a presidential administration that views itself as being at war with half of the country and sees its mission as subjugation.

Every act and policy we are seeing fits with that lens.
