So. Arsenal start December by leading the Premier League by five points as well as the Champions League. Despite missing both first choice centre-backs they earned a vital point vs a strong Chelsea side. Yet some still can’t wait to criticise. Why not try backing the boys instead

It would be so helpful if you could RT my post above about my Etsy shop. I haven't been able to work for more than half the year due to severe depression/a breakdown. If you see this & could spare a few moments for a RT it would help me put my designs in front of a few more eyes. Thankyou so much🌿

My brain’s not well at all today-depression, but I made this photo to try to lift my dark thoughts & have hidden a tiny owl in it. If you find it &/or your brain likes this image maybe let me know below? Connecting with other humans is another way to lift very low mood 🌿

18 Nov ‘56 Writing about the snowdrops last Sunday, I left myself no space to discuss the closely related snowflakes, or Leucojum. #gardening

I don’t think we grow the snowflake nearly enough. It is so graceful, being much taller than the snowdrop, it’s dangling bells rising 18” high through its rush-like leaves in April. #gardening

I would not be without Leucojum aestivum, especially the variety known as Gravetye. It flowers in April or May, which is misleading since aestivum means summer.

Leucojum vernum is more true to its adjective, since it really flowers in Spring, even as early as February or March, and is a very pretty thing for the rock garden or naturalized in grass.

The ordinary old English lily of the valley has the sweetest scent of all, but the large-flowered variety called Fortin’s Giant has its value because it flowers rather later and thus prolongs the season by about a fortnight. #gardening
