Yeah, the whole kit was hard (194 pieces, some of them TINY, and nearly all had to be sanded down to fit together), and the customization only added to the struggle. Looks cool, though!

Thank you kindly! Yup, I agree!

I set it on a candle holder to raise it higher above the piano music stand, and I think it looks good there!

Rolife company makes the booknook, with "Shakespeare and Co." sign. A fan designed replacement labels that I used, and I also printed tiny versions of some of my art to replace the kit images. I have a Tumblr post about it, I can find that link if you're interested. It was HARD to put together!

It does look good on top of the piano. Thanks!

Aha, so you ARE on Bluesky! Hello! I'd love to see pics of your craft/art here! Having trouble writing lately, too much repeating of the Same Old Things, but do have one thing that might not be too awful, still deciding if it's worth posting. Thanks for the lovely comment on my art! Cheers!

I knew it! I was Admissions staff, coordinating visit days! When I heard you were directing Good Omens 3 (huge fan), I kept telling friends I'd met you once, and how smart you were, and they had trouble believing I remembered but it WAS an unusual CV. Looking forward to the GO finale so much!

Did you ever visit Seattle's UW Biostat dept (mid-1990s?) to check out their grad program? I worked there and recall the grad program chair, Lloyd Fisher, renting "Tank Girl" to see what it was about before the visit. He seemed faintly confused by it, but said he enjoyed it a lot. He had good taste!
