Agree 100%. I've had this debate with ppl in comments sections saying shit like "was she just lying that whole time?" or "she's not stepping up" and it drives me crazy. She doesn't owe anyone anything, especially after giving 1000% of herself.

100% in agreement. Jasmine Crockett, too. but this thread was questioning where our former presidents are, and my point is that our active congresspeople should be doing the heavy lifting since that’s literally their jobs. and we the people should be doing the lifting, also.

False equivalency. Bernie is not a former president, he is an active member of the senate. And I would love to see more Dem senators do what he is doing because that is what they're there for. Ppl with an active role in govt should be *active* about it.

unclear as to what you think our former presidents should be doing. Leading what, exactly? They don't currently hold a political office. If there is something that needs to be done, it is incumbent upon us as individuals to mobilize, rather than waiting for saviors.

What are you expecting her to do, exactly? She's no longer vice president, she doesn't hold an elected position, she weilds no political power. She is now a private citizen. All her warnings during her campaign went unneeded by the majority. So what should she be doing that she hasn't already done?

It breaks my heart that this is happening again. My dad spent his early childhood in camp. My uncle was born there. And I can honestly say this affected them their entire lives.
