Starting a run, then I remember to start my playlist!

Wonderful long run at dawn along the Black Sea. I’ve always enjoyed the long runs because I can chow down a little more (okay, a lot more!) than usual 😂 #runningformylife

Long run in Stillwater, MN! I forgot what it was like to run in 100% humidity. I looked like I had been swimming in the St. Croix River instead of running next to it, but I got it done. #runningformylife

Nice 6.5 mile Sunday run. Some ups and downs but the nicest part was the temps stayed in the mid 60’s during the run before rocketing into upper 90’s this afternoon. #runningformylife

Easy 4 miles today. Still struggling with my pacing but getting there. #runningformylife

Haven’t posted for a while. I’m keeping up with my running. Started a program on Runna a couple weeks ago. Yesterday was Pyramid Intervals, first time I’ve done them. The program is helpful in building confidence in my ability and teaching me how to pace myself. #runningformylife

6 x 400 Interval training yesterday. The warm-up and cooldown phases are helping me “learn” how to pace myself.

@pjthereuss.bsky.social this Twins team reminds me of some of those back in the mid - 70’s. I still remember being a ‘ute on the tractor listening to games on KVOX in Moorhead. Carew, Bostock and not much else. Damn depressing by mid-June/early July.

@pjthereuss.bsky.social Heard your sentiment on Jim Marshall possible HoF election. That in mind, one of the highlights of my youth was trips to The Cities from Moorhead & reading your stuff. 50+ yrs later, your columns & podcasts are a must. Wanted you to know while it can still do you good!

JUST IN: Five steamy, sweaty miles this morning in Bucharest! #runningformylife

Back in Belgrade for the weekend. Got my final run for the week. Went great, but there were stairs (I hates stairs) and ankle breaking cobble stones in mile number 4. BUT I did the miles and feel better for the effort! #runningformylife

Another solid run in Novi Sad today. 4.25 miles, hit almost all green lights. #runningformylife #Spokanerepresents

A couple of runs this past week in Kirov Park in Oral, Kazakhstan. Never thought I would say this, but paved & dirt trails in the main park and miles of paved running trails on the west side of the River, Oral rivals Astana in KZ. #runningformylife

With 3.7 miles today I hit my 15 miles for the week. Multiple flights this coming week that land after midnight, so not sure if I’ll get there, but going to try by front loading at least half of them on Monday and Tuesday. #runningformylife

Nice little run in Baku, Azerbaijan this morning! Cool weather and poor sleep resulted in my quickest pace in a month!

Can anyone explain to me why Griffin Jax was given a blown save for giving up the lead in the 8th inning? Doesn’t that presume he would have come back out to pitch the ninth?
