I tried to teach the AI how to write literary fiction. Step by step, in the same way I teach writing to human beings. The text adapts, it "improves," but you can always recognize the AI's style, which has a very specific kind of purple prose and lacks logic.
So, don't do it. For many reasons.

"AI" creative writing looks passable to people who don't look at writing all day long. To editors, it pops out like a sore thumb. LLMs are glorified predictive text machines and they predict, well, predictably. PS: if you submit an "AI" story, the editor WILL remember you, and not in a good way.
I can usually tell if something was written by AI in the 1st paragraph. I don’t know if it’s my divergence or the fact that I’ve read a ridiculous amount 🤷🏻♀️
