A beautiful sunny day for a walk.
A track leads ahead of you, along a drystone wall. It passes under a magnificent tree, whose leaves are yet to emerge, and then squeezes through a narrow gate. Beyond the gate, the path leads up into high hills, visible in the distance.

They are the nine of swords (pain and distress, shown here as white sharp implements - a saw, a razor blade, a dagger-on a black background), the hanged one (limbo and being misunderstood, illustrated as a person captured in ropes, suspended upside down under water, accompanied by an eel) and death (change, transformation - including death. A very beautiful representation of a mixed race baby, it's parents, an older woman and a crowned skeleton, under an eclipsed moon).

I love buying vinyl stickers from artists to decorate my journal, laptop etc. But I find it pretty hard to find artists selling them. If you sell stickers of your art, please reply and we can make a big sticker appreciation thread.

Close to sunset in one of my workplaces today.

The beech tree is nearing the end of its life and has been carefully managed by a tree surgeon to make it safe. The tightly clipped yew mark the transition from a formal lawn to a wilder woodland meadow beyond.
The sun sets behind an elderly beech tree which has been carefully pruned to make it safe as it declines. Other trees mark the horizon, from the sentry-like form of a fastigiate oak to the rustling clusters of a eucalyptus. Dramatic shadows race towards our feet across the neat green lawn.
