Here's another new DuoZuplixo feature: If you're stuck, take a look at the Minimap! It will show you any nearby Orbs! If you don't want it on screen all the time, you can turn it off in the pause menu.

Nora, Blobguy & Dr. Zuplow have been kidnapped by a strange, lanky, spiky individual. The spiky man has chucked pink, white & red paint all over Nora, stabbed some of his spikes into Blobguy, and is currently attempting to shave off all of Zuplow's hair. Blobguy's holding up a sign that says "DuoZuplixo SAGE '25 Demo OUT NOW". Nobody knows where this man came from, but one thing's for certain, he will return this time next year....

Later on I ended up merging parts of Marcia & Loretta to create Nora, Dr. Zuplow's daughter. Because of this I originally wasn't going to use either character again... (6/8)
A picture showing comparisons between Marcia, Loretta & Nora Zuplow. Loretta & Nora both have similar facial expressions, and Nora wields a scythe similar to Loretta's. Nora also uses a similar colour scheme to Marcia and has similar looking hair.

This character was called Loretta. I had envisioned her as some sort of mentor figure for Marcia. You'd end up fighting her during Marcia's story due to some disagreements between the two. Unfortunately I have no way of recording her gameplay right now so all I can show you is her sprites (2/8):

Some of you may remember that back in 2022-2023 I was making my first indie game, DEMYSTIX. The game had 3 playable characters, Marcia, Greflek & David, but, you may recall that I had teased an unlockable 4th character throughout development. (1/8)
Four concept designs for Loretta, the unlockable 4th character from DEMYSTIX. The first design has white hair, and pink and grey clothes. Her second design changes her hair to a dark red, and changes the pink on her clothes to a brighter red. Her third design changes her hair to a very light blue and her clothes to a darker blue. Finally, we have her fourth design, which was made for the scrapped DEMYSTIX comic in 2024. This design exaggerated the shape of her hair more, and changed it's colour back to white. She now wears a yellow scarf around her neck, a red and yellow dress with a pointy skirt, white and yellow gloves, and red, white and yellow boots.
