Lots of chat about 'tesla' at the moment: for what it's worth the cars are not for me, I don't believe electric is the way forward there are far better alternatives available that would be more sustainable and user friendly, if explored correctly.

During Covid lockdown, if you had family round on Christmas Day the police could force their way into your home and make them return to their own homes.
Does anybody know if this service is still available and, if so, do you have to book it?

Both our lawmakers and our police need to take a good hard look at themselves and ask, why does this stuff tend only to come out when the abuser is dead?
Mohamed Al Fayed may have raped and abused more than 111 women, say police
Scale of the criminality would make Fayed, who died last year at the age of 94, one of Britain’s most prolific sex offenders

It took 13 years to build a following of nearly 300k on Twitter, and that reach was really useful for charity stuff and so on.
It will take a lot of time to replicate that here, but I'd rather that than have to endure a daily hate-fest. I'm capable of scrapping in one, but It's just not interesting

The forthcoming #TheWaterboys album features several guests. No it isn't one of those dreaded "duet" albums. It's a rock'n'roll record with a flavour of Americana and some cool friends join in the fun. And for the first time ever the opening track is sung by someone who isn't me. Here is his beard.

I see that a collection of MPs have taken it upon themselves to “launch” a private prosecution, in relation to a case which is still awaiting a CPS charging decision.

What might be the problems with this? 🧵
