Florida's public record laws follow the topic of the record and not the method. Doesn't matter if you use your private phone/email if you are talking about public business. As one of my bosses learned the hard way.

I don't know how much is related to FOIA, but as a government employee in a state with broad public record laws...you very quickly learn that phone calls are not public records and do everything that way.

The pedophile label is great for marketing but ultimately it misses the fact that their treatment of children is BECAUSE of their worldview. It isn't a side note that they are attracted to kids. They prey on kids because they think it is how society should work.

Conservatives believe not only in the natural existence of hierarchies but also in the idea that those who are "higher" in the social order have the right to do whatever they want to people lower in that social order. This is the basis of "parents rights" to ban books.

There are, broadly speaking, two types of people who sexually abuse children. Those who do so because they are primarily attracted to children and those who do so because children are easy prey. I think the Republican party has a lot of that second group.

Tax law is not difficult it is just very boring so I recommend it to any Civ Pro/D&D type law students because once you know it people will employ you just because nobody else wants to learn it.

I don’t begrudge anyone who votes against these Senators in the future (assuming they are replacing them with people more to the left) but I also would never want to be in the position those Senators were.

The cat rescues I support we’re having massive numbers of people having to surrender their pets because they couldn’t afford to care for them without SNAP supplementing the family income. (I spent $250 sending pet food to people from Amazon so they could keep them).

Yeah. I also don’t love what is happening but I also know that the pet food pantry in my county and the three surrounding counties ran out of food three days into the month because so many people were having to use their pet food money for feeding humans.

That's why we need to invest more into AI. So it can do the good jobs and American's can do the dangerous low paying ones.
