Those 8 Senate Democrats just handed Republicans every talking point they’ve ever wanted about the shutdown. Truly disgraceful capitulation that will do untold damage to the party. Schumer should step down immediately.

Watching the Dems
fail to take the fight to The Reps is like the Shingles vaccine ad - “I’m healthy, work out and watch what I eat!” “SHINGLES DOESN’T CARE! “ The sooner Dems realize that the Republicans don’t give a shit what they say,and start fighting fire with fire, the better

It was bonkers.

A living breathing version of the often unfair but this time spot on disparaging stereotype of an American.
Trump’s UN Address Was a Tragedy of Shakespearian Proportions
Of course, the president’s main messages today were ones of irrationality and instability, so who knows what the plot points and soliloquies will be tomorrow or next week.

I highly doubt that any medical insurance company is paying to keep this poor woman alive - so the question is, who is? Who is willing to pay to keep a dead woman’s heart beating long enough to deliver her baby, but wouldn’t have covered her care if she’d lived?

@life360.bsky.social I’ve recently updated to the latest version of the app and I’m having problems with the map not adjusting when I switch between different family member locations. When I click on person B for example, it tells me where they are in text but the map still shows the location /2

The @theguardian.com redesign is a classic example of fixing something that didn’t need fixing and making it worse. No longer easy to see important new headlines, huge opportunities to swipe to the next page by mistake with the carousels, too many photographs. All reasons why I switched from BBC. 😢
