Last week, we watched fireworks on our class TV and we discussed how to keep safe on Bonfire night. This inspired some children to create fireworks pictures. We also practised our mark making skills on the tuff spot.

Over the last few weeks, we have absolutely loved participating in the YMI sessions. This has given us amazing experiences of early literacy, dance, singing and parachute games to name but a few! Look at the absolute joy on display during our recent session.

This week, we are focusing on the 'a' and 't' sound. We have sang the jolly phonic songs for both sounds and also participated in a variety of activities to help us learn the sounds.

We are beginning to recognise our emotions and how this looks. We used mirrors to help us see what our facial features do when we are happy. We also used play dough to make a happy face.
