Sculptor inspired by insects, mold, and other small and curious things. Everything I do is impacted by my experience of invisible disability and chronic pain. Queer, ento-goth Ms. Frizzle.

"I Cannot Be a Meal, But I Can Be a Garden" is a self portrait of my experience as a disabled person. A sprouted potato is ruined, unless you radically shift your perspective of what the value of a potato can be.

One of the interesting challenges in making this piece was sculpting the popsicle stick. I spent a long time examining a real one, looking closely at its textures and markings.

I am my bruises
and my soft flesh
and my sweetness.
I am my impermanence
and imperfections.
I am the stone at my core
that exists to create.

The average length of a dandelion taproot is 6-18 inches, but they can grow up to 10 feet. A dandelion can regrow from as little as an inch of taproot left in the soil.

Trying to take action on the things I can control, and finally creating an account here. Hoping to find community around art, nature, bugs, and other wonderful things!
