Literally the only Republican in Congress who is not afraid to say this. Even despite the threat here from Trump’s campaign manager. They can’t get votes on the merits, so they always resort to threats. Trump rules his party with fear, and they are all terrified- except Massie.

In a free labor market, the main task of every employer is to take care of his employees. To do otherwise is to put himself at a disadvantage in terms of profits. But unions want more than the market can give them: they want to sit on the shoulders of consumers and non-unionized workers. #unions

Pure capitalism, that is the free market economy, is the best, fairest and most just economic system. It is those who modify it to make it better, i.e. conservatives (the right) and liberals (the left), are to blame for the rise of Trump.

Producers cannot directly pass on the costs to consumers. But tariffs will force them to reduce production. And that will lead to higher prices. So the higher the taxes/tariffs, the less production, the higher the prices.

Trump's public posture is disgraceful, painting the aggrieved as the aggressor in a decidedly one-sided conflict. But if Trump's unhinged rhetoric convinces Europe once and for all to take up a greater share of its own defense and that of its neighbors, then it could be a positive outcome.
