This hawk stopped by to get a quick bath in a puddle this morning. I believe that this is a Broad Shouldered Hawk, but I'm not 100% sure.

It was a beautiful day, so I got out and did some hiking at one of my favorite places here in NY.

I had to run into town this morning to run errands and came across this sign that was very prominently displayed right by the road. I haven't seen this one before. This street is a block from downtown and on the main drag.
I live in a small town in rural upstate NY in a historically purple county.

He always has to be as close as humanly possible.

Every single time that I try to play a game, this little 💩 insists on sitting right... there.... It's a good thing that catdad had been playing casual city-builders lately and nothing where I need to see what I'm doing.
