Does anyone have a clergy shirt brand recommendation? I’ve lost quite a bit of weight, prefer band collars, and am wondering if there’s anything out there that doesn’t fit like a hefty bag. ⚓️

Well, what an awful year. Crohn’s really does suck. HOWEVER, this is the day that the Lord has made and we will still rejoice and be glad in it.

Time to add another year to my journey with Crohn’s disease. Now we’re up to 16, and, to be honest, this year has been difficult. But here’s hoping the new meds work. 🙏🏻

Ooh. This was fun to think about, especially given how much I’ve changed since seminary.

I’ve gone from having never heard of OwlCat games to being obsessed with Rogue Trader and Wrath of the Righteous.

"Why is Christmas to be celebrated? Why do we sing carols, hear the accounts of the Nativity from Scripture, and gather in churches in the cold and dark of December? Because of what the Nicene Creeds proclaims: Jesus Christ, the One born among us, is very God."

Apparently we’re not getting over this cold by Christmas. 🫠

Having said the comfortable words for the last four Sundays in a row, I can’t for the life of me think of why they were removed from Rite II.

Really hoping to be over this cold before it’s time to sing the Christmas liturgy. ‘Tis the season, indeed.

Spent a couple hours with my folks putting together and loading up Thanksgiving dinner kits for families in our area. A very touching and neat ministry.

Last month the preschool kids got We’re Going on a Bear Hunt stuck in my head. This week it’s Gratitude Attitude. I’m strangely ok with this.

So much yes. I threw out my back for the first time at 32 and have a mortgage. I’m just a regular adult now, thanks.
Sorry to the whole Episcopal Church, I'm just owning that I'm in my 30s and just not a "young adult" anymore—and I won't be identifying as one, thanks!!!

Had a good time with the bishop visiting today. As I ran around in a flurry making sure everything was good, I said good morning to quite a few folks by name. Finally starting to feel a little more settled in.

While I’m enjoying the results of being more physically active, man do I hate it in the moment.

Dragon Quest 3 and cozy blankets are just what my heart and soul needed today.

I gotta say. I knew that I was going to be learning some things as a newly minted Priest-in-Charge. But boi. They’ve sure been some pretty weird and off the wall things for only having been here two months.
