No, you #BeKind, I’m done. Done, I tell you!
Here’s a picture of my car on fire.

I have a cat very like yours, and she too has a lovely shiny, thick coat.

Her whiskers are so dark she looks like she hasn’t got any though, particularly next to her white-whiskered sister.

Such a gorgeous sunny spring day today!

This is the woodland that my house sits in.

It’ll soon be June again, and all will be right with the world.

Happy 2024 everyone!

Hoping for more glimpses of the elusive Devonian Forest cat next year.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

This is Mr McMort’s spider sculpture, made from a neighbour’s discarded copper boiler and an upturned ash stump. About my height, 5’3”.

When in doubt, wash the dog (to paraphrase Paul Gallico).

Sleeping like, er, cats and dogs.

This is the pup we kept, top of the previous pic with three black spots on his back.

My boy-dog’s 6th birthday today!

I know this looks like a dog massacre, but they’re just full-bellied sleeping. Honest.

Just found another picture of them together as kittens!

They used to play-fight all the time, but as they grew up the playing turned real - just like human sisters (in my experience).

“You what, mate? Come up ‘ere and say that.”

This is him nearly 6 years later, wearing a Go-Pro, as he’s taken to wandering off on his own (we have no fences) and we wanted to make sure he wasn’t sheep or fowl-bothering.

It’s a ball-chucker being wielded in the foreground, not a hammer or an axe.

I love them, they’re such great dogs, and great family dogs too, the busier the better. I’ve never met a nasty springer.

Here’s my boy with his Mum. Her eye is horribly red but so would yours be after seven babies.

Our cats were named by Mr McMort, as it was his turn, but because I took them to the vet, I gave them my names (which were much better) as their surnames, so they are officially Miss Ava Mustard and Ms Tashie Bandit.

They hate each other so this is the only photo I have of them together.

My cat’s whiskers are the cat’s whiskers.
