I like Simon and he would be a fine plan B but I'm just not seeing the problem with Walz. He has won relatively easily twice, even his critics would say he is a skilled politician, and while people hate to focus on it with his national profile raising money should be no problem.

Got to disagree on this one. Not sure who besides Klobuchar would be a stronger candidate.

So if I'm understanding this right I would need to pay the $29.99 a month for ESPN+ plus an unknown additional amount for the Twins. Watching the Twins in 2026 is going to be much more expensive.

I understood the reasoning behind the trades but why on earth do you have Urena and other washed up nobodies filling out the rotation instead of 2/3 of the young starters that are in St Paul? If this was the NBA or NFL I would accuse them of tanking for draft position.

What gave me the clickbait vibe more than anything is throwing in Klobuchar as a possible governor candidate. Would certainly be a political earthquake in MN but I don't see it as a realistic possibility.

The whole article seem to be just clickbait/speculation. No real news except what some "DFL insiders" think.
Personally I still think Walz runs but am far less sure than a few months ago. If he doesn't please no Keith Ellison, would put the seat at serious risk.
