When looking at how many support staff you need, what is the starting point? Do you take your SEN notional and top funding and work backwards or is there another way to calculate staffing when there is no EYFS ratio requirement?

Corporate companies who do this to schools are an utter disgrace. This is dreadful but still not as bad as the company who recently withdrew payroll services from hundreds of schools with a similar time period to make alternative arrangements. The stress on School Business Leaders is unacceptable.
Exclusive: Schools are demanding a payment provider which has ceased operating in the UK refund their parents in full amid accusations that cash is being 'withheld'

Wet and windy outside but a warm reception inside at the Birmingham Association of School Business Management conference (even for a talk on procurement)! Lots of great questions and hopefully everyone better informed…

In discussions with catering and cleaning contractors and general consensus is that the increases in NLW and employers NI combined will be resulting in double digit employment cost increases on site. So be prepared and now is the time to work together to mitigate those increases. #SBL #SBM
