At this stage you don’t need to go *with* me. For the right bid — and it’s currently a very low bar — I can just email you the ticket and we can pretend we’ve never met. And chances are, we haven’t.

(I do have friends, but they’re all busy or elsewhere or said “What IS this?!?!1!?”.)
Fucking hell, it’s THIS THURSDAY and I still don’t have anyone to go with. ATARASHII GAKKO! isn’t *that* weird, and neither am I!
So, one week from tonight, next Thursday 4 December, ATARASHII GAKKO! is playing the UNSW Roundhouse. I have tickets but no one to go with. Who’d like to come with me? Place your bids!

Check them out here www.youtube.com/@ATARASHIIGA... or in your music app. They’re not for everyone.

Quick note to anyone thinking of buying my books: please purchase the new Swift Press versions, NOT the relatively small number of Unbound versions still knocking about, & being sold by OOINYA. Unbound stopped paying me for my work early in 2024 and I will never see a penny for these books.

You just died. The 6th picture in your phone gallery is what killed you.

At least I died happy, reading. Most likely in bed.

I thought this was going to turn into a story needing its own True Crime Netflix series, but no.
This is quite something.

Forgot my Goodreads password so I was forced to preorder it. Oh well.
Psst if you are a Goodreads user, you can now mark my next novel, Mercutio, as want-to-read, if you are so inclined. My favourite of my books so far.

My gawd, what a fucking ridiculous platform we're on
If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

I was taught that oral history was unreliable, that if it wasn't written down you couldn't rely on it. I'm so glad to see that these racist assumptions have been cast aside and that scientists are now working with First Nations communities to document their truths.

ICYMI it’s not every day I come across a lesbian book I’ve never remotely heard of that fucks this hard.

Helluva debut and an author to watch!
Finished this last night.

A lesbian fantasy novella with intriguing worldbuilding, purposeful prose, and a surprising amount of slightly kinky sex.

(Not a romance so don’t go looking for a HEA)

If you like your lesbians messy and weird, definitely give this a try!

Sun plan: Sleep in and then sleep some more, because I was up very late watching videos (done); figure out why a podcast isn’t being published; ponder the week ahead; Weekly Wrap; plug the crowdfunder, which is now 90% to Target One, thank you; tidy up a few loose ends.
FINAL WEEK: My current crowdfunder The 9pm Spring Series 2025 ends next Thursday 25 Sept at 9pm AEST. Please consider. This thread will mention some reasons why — although you could just click through and pledge your support now. :) the9pmedict.com/spring2025
