This important study from the Journal of Applied Psychology shows that stress:
* lingers and builds from one day to the next, AND
* has physical as well as psychological consequences, AND
* is contagious, with parent stress affecting children.

Can parents' stress cross over to their children? 🔄

New research by French and colleagues (2025) published in the Journal of Applied Psychology suggests that stress from both work and nonwork can ricochet from parents to their adolescents.
