loves rusty robots & electronic music & italian 70's horror. Occasionally goes to Japan to dance in the woods and take some pictures of dark alleys on the side.

Discovered a new neighborhood during my Tokyo time this year. Still setagaya but a corner I haven't been before (Miyanosaka station on setagaya line). Nice quiet area except during daytime when all the tourists arrive to visit the famous cat temple. But ideal to walk around at night. #tokyo

Tried some colored versions of last year’s Tokyo photographs and I’m especially happy with the effect on metal paper ( not really visible here )

ICC Berlin opened in 1979 and was named “spaceship” for his futuristic design. Designed as a congress center it became less important in the 90’s. Now closed, the city of berlin is looking for a new purpose. It is often used in movies/tv series (FOUNDATION etc) #architecture #iccberlin #futuristic

Sangenjaya is an area in Tokyo that I often spend nights, strolling through hidden back alleys, listening to my favorite ambient music and take pictures on the side. This one is a rework of the original full color picture, I might even like it better now..

Latest discovery in Tokyo: Gotokuji Temple In Setagaya is a Buddhist temple that is said to be the birthplace of the maneki-neko, or "luck-inviting cat figurine."
These statues have become quite popular all over the world with cat-lovers. #setagaya #manekineko #shimokitazawa #tokyo #japan #gotokuji

Somehow I hope they’ll show cyberspace in a semi realistic way, like the first neuromancer game on C64/Amiga. I don’t need photorealistic graphics, I want my wireframes and some color cycling🥳

Setagaya Daita Station is on the Odakyu line. On clear days (towards sunset) you can see Mt.
Fuji from here. Often times passengers stop by for a sec, watch the horizon, hoping to get a glimpse of the mountain. The cab picture (look for Fuji!)is the last one I took in 2023 before rushing to haneda..
