I adore Lauri and think he's the better player, but part of the point discrepancy is the cast surrounding each during their prime.

As others have said, @kagi.com is by far the best search engine.
You get what you pay for and it’s truly amazing. Not only are the regular search results great, but it allows you to dip into AI when you need it. It’s not just forced on you.
