Trying to survive the new fascist government next door and the havoc they are creating in my country. Mostly though, I am overtaken by anxiety over my grandchildren’s future.

We are not perfect, but a single, powerful way we are different and trying to improve ourselves , is that hate speech is illegal. Canada outlaws hate groups such as Proud Boys. Up here free speech doesn’t include hate. Yes of course we have asses up here, but unlike the US we try and control it.

Honestly, first thing America needs, is to admit the truth. They are not the greatest, freest nation, never has been. Start again with thought and honesty. Found your nation without hate or racism. Build a better version of yourselves.

Slavery was what this country grew on. Racism is in every policy and institution of the US. Trump just unleashed its power. You must end racism if the country is to survive. But we all know that will never happen.

How disgusting can humans be? I hope most Americans are horrified by these comments. And I dare say most would consider themselves Christian.

I am afraid no one is coming to save America. Only Americans who take to the streets by the millions, every day, all day. Bring the country to its knees. When enough say enough, it will be enough.

I said i applaud the protesters. But it’s just a historical fact, that protests need to be ongoing, daily. Hourly. The average length of time a government survives a full economic shut down, is 10 days. Only 10 days. Block the roads, streets, buy nothing. Stay on the streets and the people will win

I applaud those who protest. But I don’t have any hope with such protests, democracy can be saved. Americans need to bring the country to its knees. Stop everything, make no money for the oligarchs. The people have all the power but seem to timid to go all out. Yes, it will hurt.

Will there though? I doubt it. Trump gets away with murder, literally and nothing ever happens. He just gets more power and makes more money. Until Americans shut down the entire country, bring the govt to its knees, NOTHING will happen except democracy will die.
