Conan clicked along in his Oscar monologue, typically faux modest, and then hit this ugly, unnecessary moment when he pretended to call out Adam Sandler, dressed like a slob pretending to go play basketball. I saw it as a slam against Volodymyr Zelensky. If not the intention it still wasn't funny.
