In four years they haven’t conquered the Donbas let alone Ukraine. They’re nearly bankrupt. Their navy is crap, their air force couldn’t fight an air to air war to save its life and their army is a mess. It’s nation that’s all smoke and mirrors.

there’s virtually nothing the other side can say or do without it being used against them. The only way to defend is for the defender to find an irrefutable fact you can’t escape from and hammer it home. That’s why for example, the Epstein files matter so much - even Trump can’t get away from them.

I spent ages trawling all sorts of information - including some official lines and agencies and I’m not even sure the Ukrainians know the exact picture and the Russians don’t either.

Russian export channels for crude oil are seriously limited.
The Chinese remain strategically committed to Russia staying in the war, but only if China is effectively raping them financially for their support. Cynicism at its finest.

hit recruitment is no minor one. Calling up reservists to ostensibly defend critical infrastructure, is just a way to get men who have been in the military, but spent four years assiduously avoiding going to Ukraine, fighting in Ukraine. The MoD says they won’t be deployed; you know they’re lying.
