Pardoning the January 6th committee members was a good move morally and politically. First it was the right thing to do because Mango Mussolini is indeed a vengeful sociopath. Second it basically dares MM to pardon the J6 criminals in jail now which would be politically disastrous for the GOP.

America suffers from being founded by second sons. The European men who couldn't inherit their daddy's wealth because they weren't the oldest. rewatching FIGHT CLUB this week i was very struck by how a movie that is very plainly a critique of this vision of masculinity was taken up as a valorization of it
It's grim thinking about how many men and women in society have mental models of valorous male behavior that primarily consist of being abusive and violent.
one thing i’m stuck on is this idea that “masculine” energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.

I work with autistic people on a regular basis. Trump doesn’t have the emotional IQ to deal with someone on the spectrum. He’s so damaged he can’t even deal with people who aren’t lavishing him with fake praise or who aren’t just as broken as he is. This co presidency with Musk is going to be wild.

Musk is obviously a sociopath and on the spectrum. Trump is a functional psychopath. At some point Musk is going to lose interest in playing with Trump. The question is, what happens to our country when he does? When Musk inevitably turns on Trump, and he will, how will his wounded psyche respond?

As a person who had to have surgery on L2 thru L4 I can confirm that the kind of pain that you experience with this injury can literally rewire your brain. IYKYK.
It's not the Robin Hood story folks wanted but attractive, well-heeled young guy who had back surgery, unrelenting pain to the point of impacting his mental health. He withdraws from his peeps, eventually goes to a dark place, and eventually takes it out on insurance CEO.
