Finland seeing very positive results from a multi-year experiment using a water-cellulose mix as a binder for gravel roads. Less dust, tougher resistance to water damage/rutting, cheaper to maintain, lower carbon footprint.
Sorateiden kunnossapitoon pompsahtelee innovaatioita aika harvakseen. Suomalaisittain ikävän harvakseen. Siksipä tämä ilahduttaa.

Selluihin raaka-aineet tien vierestä, kustannuksia alas, päästöjä reilusti alas, ajettavuutta ylös. Ei paha!

Lapissa levitettiin sellukuitua soratielle – osoittautui halvaksi tavaksi pelastaa huonokuntoisia teitä
Tapojärven ja Destian menetelmässä sellukuidusta valmistettu sidosaine tekee soratiestä kestävämmän pintakelirikolle sekä vähentää sen kunnossapitokustannuksia ja hiilijalanjälkeä.
