Just to make a point. Suppose a rich person makes 10M in a bad economy but pays no tax. Now suppose they make 100M in a good economy with 90% tax. They still keep 10M. This is approximately how it works.
Tax the rich. It doesn't hurt them.

I find it disturbing that 47 thinks those who didn't vote for him hate America--which he never explicitly said, but it seems a logical conclusion. Not only does he not appreciate diversity, I don't even think he understands it.

It seems common now for people who make mistakes to double down and pretend nothing is wrong. If I ran Solar Brewing that way, I'd be making some seriously bad beer and no decent people would work for me.

Every day that passes with deported people in a foreign prison without due process is a victory for 47. Every day the nation resists future similar deportations is a victory for the nation.
We are on a knife edge. I am surprised we have maintained this balance for so long.

Over half of our congressmen and senators allow us to have a president who commits high crimes. It is shameful we must wait for a midterm election for a Congress who might act on this.

This is May Day. It is the original day used to bring awareness to workers rights and issues to ensure fair treatment. It has been essentially replaced by Labor Day which is devoted to cook outs and family. They are both valid but definitely not the same.

I have always known the world contains good and bad people, but over the past several years I have learned the median person is a lot worse than I thought. Twenty years ago the phrase "stay woke" was used by Black people to mean "watch your back". It may now be applied to anyone with compassion.
