I actually wrote a thing on Superman horror moments for another site in 2006 which is long dead now, but that post lives on in an Exclusive Collector's Reprint on my own site: www.progressiveruin.com/2020/12/04/t...

I'd imagine its inclusion under its actual brand name implies a face turn, ultimately portraying Leap Frog in a positive light.

Well, I can tell you I first saw the original Mortal Kombat machine at a pizza place my girlfriend and I were at, when I happened to notice this game with the weirdly photo-realistic graphics that moved in an odd way. Not what I was used to seeing in games up to that point!

In retrospect I should have emphasized I was more amused than, like, offended by it. I mean, it *was* a lot! But you gotta do what you gotta do to get these things made.
