You know why I’m able to thoroughly enjoy My Hero Academia? Because I’m not a chronically online person who needs to feel validated by my choices so I engage with a fandom and let those ppl sully or enhance my experience. I engage directly with a product, formulate my opinion and move on.

I’m not a fan of impressions. Especially if you are trying to be an actual actor. All it shows is you can copy someone. Show me someone who has their own take on a character and that is an actual person worthy of your time.

I just finished watching episode 16 of Evangelion with @scumbelievable.bsky.social and I finally understand why my friends in high school lost their minds when they watched this for the first time. How is anyone who's seen show this normal afterwards (they're not, I'm not)
