Yes. Maybe something more will come out. But thus far what we know is that they found a reporter was acting inappropriately and pushed him out.
As a former member of NYT’s finance team & the co-author of this story exposing the relationship between Epstein & Bill Gates as well as one on Epstein & JPMorgan, I am really frustrated to see people claiming that NYT sat on publishable info about Trump and Epstein 🧵 www.nytimes.com/2019/10/12/b...

you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Part of the reason the full Epstein truth hasn’t come out is because *everyone*—elected officials, academics, gazillionaires, journalists—comes out looking *horrible*
To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?

This seems like the most straightforward and also basically accurate message.
instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

Open AI’s product doesn’t work, cultivates mental illness, has an outside chance of destroying humanity, and will make a morally indefensible impact on the planet.
"In an internal memo from September, CEO Sam Altman said that OpenAI’s “audacious long-term goal is to build 250 gigawatts of capacity by 2033.” If Altman achieves this goal, OpenAI will need almost exactly as much electricity as India’s 1.5 billion people"

They're the absolute bane of high schools in a lot of places. Kids vaping is much harder to detect than smoking. I've even talked to administrators who've caught kids doing it in class! (In one case, they only caught the kid bc the kid posted a video of it to social media during the school day)
The number of people I see vaping indoors is truly mind blowing to me. Sorry is this is too puritanical but I don’t think that being that addicted to anything is good, even if it’s more healthy than smoking.
humbly proposing that vape pens are quietly one of the most evil inventions in the past 25 years and that everyone involved should be tried at the hague

What does the verb “fight” mean to you? Like, post online?
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

As this vote moves to the House, I stand with Democratic leadership as they refuse to rubber stamp the full-scale Republican assault on Americans’ health care and I am proud of the majority of Senate Democrats who opposed this vote.

I will not support this bill that completely fails to help Americans afford their health care.

Trump and R’s have more than doubled Americans’ health care premiums, and for 40 days they have refused to lift a finger to do a thing about it. In fact, they’ve made it worse by taking food from kids.
