I did hear in an interview at some point that Anthony plans to have about 10 Hawthorne books in total. Still lots left in that series. And I think there are 3 James Bond books. Going to give that a try as well!

I could see how that would turn you off of those. It did the opposite and got me into reading more of Doyle’s originals. I just put in my preorder through my favourite local book store for that! Also makes me think that the year following, there could be a new Hawthorne mystery as well!

I'm a huge Anthony Horowitz fan. If you haven't read the two Sherlock Holmes books he wrote, I'd highly suggest those!

Finally making it onto this one. Started following the booker prize last year and really enjoyed many of the books that I’ve found!

This was a great book and my introduction to Anthony Horowitz! I've since read this series, the Susan Ryland books (magpie murders), and his Sherlock Homles books. He has a terrific catalogue.
