Watching my favorite #DoctorWho story. I’ve probably watched this one more than any other in the show’s long history. It was one of the few I managed to record 40-odd years ago on the family VCR when the reception for our local PBS station was crystal clear for once. Always enjoy it.

Tonight’s #DoctorWho viewing. Been a long time since I’ve last seen this one. (Also, I would think any competent assassin would be deadly. But I suspect “The Competent Assassin” isn’t quite as compelling a title.)

Lazlo from Real Genius is eminently quotable (as is much of that movie), but I find myself using this one at least with some mild frequency.

After recording a new episode of @preparethetimelash.bsky.social, watching an underrated #DoctorWho story from my latest blu-ray acquisition. (It’s amazing to see how crisp this story is now, compared the original restored and recolorized VHS tape from the early 2000s.)

If #DoctorWho does bring back Omega for the finale, I hope Omega is played by Peter Davison and is accompanied by the ridiculous Ergon. (It would also make my mom, who is a non-Who fan, very happy. She knows Davison from the shows she watches on BritBox as “that guy who’s always the villain.”)
