I want to live in a world without market bubbles. Whether it’s housing, AI, or f’in tulips, speculative trading and capital with no value does more to hurt the average person in the modern world than natural disasters. Real governments need rules in place to prick those bubbles from the start.

I was not aware of this particular #JDVance nonsense prior to the new Chicago-style Pope. Reading about it now, it's just so predictably pathetic to hear this weasel invoke a medieval doctrine, selectively misinterpreted, to justify a pathological disregard for the suffering of others.
Simply put, you can’t be the party that values retirement funding if your members don’t value the concept of retirement.
