#TheConjuringLastRites will only land if you already have an investment in this franchise. Luckily, I do, thanks to Farmiga and Wilson’s endearing presence that makes it worth staying for. Chaves isn’t Wan, but it's clear he's improved over the last film in crafting a spooky final chapter.

Is it just me, or is anybody else not feeling this? The sets look too clean, which adds a layer of artifice to the visuals that is keeping me at arm's length. Look at the version from 1994. It looks dirty and chaotic; the work of a mad man. Del Toro's design looks and feels digitally glossy.

Completed the whole FINAL DESTINATION franchise in time for BLOODLINES. There is only one that is bad, but even that one has some neat kills. What a supremely entertaining series of movies.

Just finished DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN. Good show, but what if I told you that the bank episode was the best of the season? It felt like an actual serialised episode of television.

There are many reasons why I love Season 2 of ANDOR so far. However, the biggest reaction I had was seeing Dedra and Syril being in a BDSM relationship. More of that, less of everything else!
