The government shutdown is because the “Continuing Resolution” would not receive sufficient votes in the Senate. But that is to fund the government only through November 21, 2025.

If Putin is leaving Russia to meet Trump in Alaska on Friday, wouldn’t he be subject to arrest for the International Criminal Court warrant? He could then be transported to The Hague to face justice.
