I saw this pic and thought it was adorable until I found out the butterfly is drinking turtle tears. 😭
Butterfly landed on one of the two turtles pictured. The turtle looks happy and it's mouth is open. The other turtle looks closely at the butterfly. The butterfly sits on the turtle's head, drinking from it's eye, to get the sodium it needs. This behavior from the butterfly is called lachryphagy.

This is under the layers that you can't see. She cut out cardboard pieces and painted them, and attached them to a loosely stitched grey sweater to resemble chainmail.
Inside the cape is some cardboard pieces painted to look like armor, attached to a grey sweater to look like chainmail.

Had to interrupt my Ren Faire-costume-making daughter (aka Craftymite) to take her to a craft fair at one of the high schools. She bought a collage painting and I bought this cute bandana pumpkin and a crocheted chicken (which reminds me of Stardew Valley). And the weather is perfect today! 🤌🤌🤌
