The lack of fans in the stands was weird. In most FIFA neutral site, 1/3 of the seats r filled will one side’s supporters, 1/3 with the other, and 1/3 neutrals. I would guess there were maybe 5,000 fans…total. This smacks of terrible organization (NFF’s incompetence/corruption is legendary).

Pretty much. Ppl should ask any govt official dumb enough to think this is a good idea if they believe war with Nigeria would be worth:
a) >1M American military casualties
b) using nuclear weapons.
Because that will be the cost of pacifying a country the size and w/the resources of Nigeria.
