On this Memorial Day, I remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for the people and country they loved. My life was made possible because of them. I weep for the next generations that will not enjoy the same freedoms and opportunities.

I witnessed on live tv with my own eyes and ears what happened on January 6th, 2021. It was a violent insurrection and coup attempt. I will never forget the sick feeling and disgust I felt then and still feel today. #January6th

I miss the original Twitter. Back then, we tweeted about daily life, our interests, hobbies, shows we watched, our pets, hopes, dreams. It was real and often hilarious. I laughed. A lot. Now, 90%+ is about politics. I know it’s important, but I miss interacting with people about “normal” things.
