I used to be a Mesolithic archaeologist. In 2020 Covid19 hit me, crashed me. My pleas for help continue. Year 5 chronic #LongCovid, now bed-bound, unable to walk, no income or support, bankruptcy close, house repossession on horizon. Please help and share if you can 🆘

GODS I nearly fell again, hour ago. Caught my toe in furniture. Twisting jelly knees, spiraling in vertigo-vortex, but grabbed on. Caught myself. Otherwise another night on the floor. #LongCovid. The brain-balance stuff is surreal (MCAS, Dysautonomia, POTS etc). I'm into my 6th year in major crash.

Why aren't we testing us long haulers from 2020, so that's into year 6? (And even just 1 infection, not multiple). SIX YEARS since 2020, and many of us crashing again, as happens regularly, right now.

Sir, soundbite panicky alley. I'll focus on just 1 missing for me. You treat SARS2 pandemic like it's over, it isn't. There's ZERO support for ~3mill UK all ages in #LongCovid chronic illness. No schools clean air (HEPA) policy. I could write an hour re: broken Utilities, broken MSM & BBC, yada!
✋🏾 Five good things you may have missed that the Labour government delivered last week… 🌹
November 12, 2025 at 11:23 PM
Including for the ~3 million of us in the UK alone suffering life-crippling #LongCovid without any support, too unwell to work, barely able to function, often housebound (and losing our homes), in an ONGOING pandemic, many infected multiple times, all ages. #MECFS is in the same bracket.
The word "COVID" doesn't appear once in the govts 10 year plan for health, says economist @mrmarkethomas.bsky.social from the @99organisation.bsky.social in parliament just now.

How can you make an economic plan while ignoring something so monumental?

"Ignoring COVID is a serious flaw."

Decade for me, no TV or any derivatives. Don't miss it. 2012 last I watched (when a sense of being a viable nation). BUT BY GODS the TVLA come at you every year with threats like you're a criminal. Like "but you have an aerial". Well "I also have a cellar but no dead bodies in it" logic.
We haven't for years. You can declare you don't need a licence on the TV Licence website.

Encapsulate the entire UK predicament into the "Rejoin the EU" concept. Single Market, customs union, save £££Bns, and grow. What's "whacky" unless one is driven by cynical offshored interests and tax avoiders? The latter is Brexit and criminal, and evidence-based.
What these types of politicians haven't grasped yet is that you can't really pull the 'this is whacky/undeliverable/student politics' line if you yourselves are pushing extremist policy that is not in any way evidence-based.
EXCL: The Green party is offering “simple solutions to complex problems” and making “undeliverable” promises to voters ahead of next election, PM's chief secretary Darren Jones tells me 👇

We need Mr Gove in a Court of Law facing corruption, gross negligence and conspiracy-to-defraud charges, at the least. (I'd add a drugs test too).
🔴We Need to Talk About Michael Gove and Crony Covid Contracts

Gove claims he had no “active role” in the procurement of Covid PPE during the pandemic, yet evidence suggests he was involved in multiple VIP deals worth over £1billion, reports Russell Scott

Anybody UK been through the enforced BT transition to "Digital" yet, landline & broadband? Involves an engineer visit. How was it? Supposed to be quick & seamless, and don't think I'm complex (all hubs in one place, plus wireless phone extensions). But call me cynical & cautious. Not Shirley.

@greenparty.org.uk @zackpolanski.bsky.social Hello. What's the Green Party's position on Universal Basic Income (UBI)? Everywhere it's been piloted globally it appears to have worked, for individuals, families, health & well-being, aspiration, equality, employment, societally, economically.

The thing about universal basic income is: it works. Every time. Every study. The participants, the community, the local economy: all benefit.

Yet it’s still treated like wishful thinking instead of a practical solution to existing problems.

KEEP THEM AWAY FROM the Blue safe space. Please gods. They're the toxic poison.
Politico: "MPs should consider deleting X, according to a committee led by Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle...

"On social media, the report said MPs should feel “empowered to step away from platforms that pose more harm than benefit.”

Absolutely. Please get on with it.

And the EU just 20 miles away. Why are they in denial? Who are they afraid of? There is time for a Ref25.

Can somebody qualified and sensible, medically-qualified, like living on the same planet, explain the mental-health issues going on here?
Steve Bannon: Trump is "a vehicle for divine providence" & "an instrument of divine will".

This is such a classic part of the fascist playbook. I wrote about it last year for @bylinetimes.bsky.social.

Hmm. Not shocked.
U.S. intelligence has confirmed that Larry Ellison’s wife is a Chinese intelligence operative who infiltrated Silicon Valley to obtain strategic tech information.

Authorities are now tracing possible data leaks from Oracle network.

This is one of the most shocking revelations in recent years.
